Vintage Chinese Porcelain Ceramic Ginger Jar Hand Painted With Birds and Flowers & Metallic Gold Glaze. 30cm in height (with lid). Hand painted vintage Chinese porcelain ginger jar with a scene of birds and flowers with vignettes both on the front and back of the jar, circa Mid 20th Century. Family Rose blues and Imari designs. There is a heavy textured geometric blue and burgundy glaze on the sides with metallic gold detailing, some paint in heavy moriage. Lid measures 10cm diameter, the gold is slightly worn off on the tip with age. No chips or cracks. Heavy, medium parcel weighing in excess of 2kgs.

Pair of 2 Large Antique 19th century Chinese Blue and White Prunus Ginger Jars. This is a beautiful pair of Ginger Jars. This was an Estate find. I do not know the history on them. I can see from the markings they are old. They are both free from any chips or cracks.

Magnificent Impressively Large and decorative Chinese Ginger vase with Lid and stand. Superb decoration in underglaze cobalt blue. Freely painted Cartouches of scholars objects surrounded by Prunus blossom on a dark crackle blue glaze. There are elements especially the unglazed top rim which would suggest an earlier date but I feel the base and slope inwards of the rim is more typical of a later piece rather than earlier piece and so I have revised this listing and price accordingly. I have tried to capture the true colour of the vase which is a deep rich Cobalt blue but The photos do not really show the true colour. The stand is contemporary to the vase but well matched. Either way a really stunning vase for decoration and in excellent condition. Height 26cm (10″) (with stand) Diameter 215cm (8.5″). Will be sent very well packed. They measure 14 inches tall with lid by 6.5 inches wide by 3 inches deep. Each one weighs 3.4 pounds by itself without any packing materials or 7 pounds for the two of them. They feature matching figures patterns. They are in very good condition overall with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
