Here we have a lovely Antique Chinese Blue And White Ginger Jar. This ginger jar comes in good used pre loved ex displayed condition with no chips or cracks. The rims on the lid and on the bottom of the jar has some age and wear related marks. Has made in China stamped on the bottom of the jar. This is a very good example of a antique blue and white Chinese Ginger Jar. Please study the photos provided as they form the main part of this description.
Two large early 19th century Chinese bronze Foo Dog/temple lion incense burners, c1820. Both are beautifully cast and heavy (combined weight 2.8kg). With fine detail to the features, teeth, feet etc they are depicted in the traditional open mouth position with teeth showing and have lovely decorative flourishes. One has the void on its back to allow incense to be placed inside and for the smoke to escape while the other has the opening under its belly to enable incense to be positioned underneath it.
