A fine antique Chinese export porcelain vase in the Fitzhugh pattern. Decorated in underglaze blue with a trellis-diaper border to the rim edge surrounded with spearheads and dumb-bells, with fronds and a repeated trellis-diaper device to the neck, and with flowers, precious objects and medallions to the body. Simply a wonderful vase! It is in overall good to fair, as-pictured, used estate condition. There is some old professional restoration with overpaint (likely for old chips or flakes) around the circumference of the rim, a few existing chips or frits to the rim, some small open bubbles in the glaze, some very fine and light glaze scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Please see our other related items. Thanks for looking and good luck!
