Chinese 17th c Shunzhi Large Vase Lid 1644-1661

You often see Shunzhi Vases but so many have no lid. This is a genuine Shunzhi Lid depicting peonies in Tomato red with deep green leaves and underglaze blue mounds. Excellent condition with some loss of surface at time of manufacture. The exterior measures 16cm diameter and stands 9.5cm high. Measurement of widest fit is 11.5cm tapering to 10cm.

Pair of Large Antique Chinese Bamboo Hand Carved Brush Vases, Brush Pots 32.3cm

Pair Antique Chinese Bamboo Hand Carved Brush Vases. These vases were discovered under the thatch of a cottage when it was removed for rethatching. I think they are early 20th Century, but you would need to verify this. They are in a very good but dirty condition as they were discovered. Some of my photographs show the vases as slightly red in places. The first picture of the two vases together is a more accurate rendition. If you require more photographs please let me know. Sizes are 32.3 cm tall. They appear to be oval in shape approx 9.8cm x 10.7cm. Beautiful condition with the exception of a small chip to the end of a carved roof on one of the vases which would cover over I believe.

Large Antique 19thc Chinese Porcelain Jardiniere Vase, Scholar Holding Scroll

LARGE ANTIQUE 19THC CHINESE PORCELAIN JARDINIERE VASE, SCHOLAR HOLDING SCROLL. 24.5cm wide x 15.5cm high. Weight: 2.325 kilos. A large antique 19th century Chinese blue and white hand painted Qing dynasty porcelain jardiniere with tapered sides and flared rim. It depicts a scholar with two attendants spreading a paper scroll with bamboo in the background. This scene is repeated on the reverse and they are interspersed with two panels of prunus blossom on a’cracked ice’ background. There are decorative borders to the sides and and rim.
