The enamels are in fine condition and beautiful painted. 1 vase with a small star in the rim, 1 vase with hairline in the side. Both nice and solid. A pair of Vintage Carved Resin/Soapstone Oriental Vases Elephant Head Handles

Beautifully carved vases showing rural Chinese scenes. These vases measure approximately – height 12.5ins, width 10ins (incl handles) and 7.25ins (excl handles) each on a base measuring 5.25ins width. These vases are perfect for floral displays or simply as decorative pieces. Each vase weighs 4.7kgs (10.3lbs) and as such are much heavier than other more traditional vases of this size. In view of this, I intend to despatch them separately, fully protected, in order to ensure minimum risk of damage during transit. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Pair of Large Antique Chinese Bamboo Hand Carved Brush Vases, Brush Pots 32.3cm

Pair Antique Chinese Bamboo Hand Carved Brush Vases. These vases were discovered under the thatch of a cottage when it was removed for rethatching. I think they are early 20th Century, but you would need to verify this. They are in a very good but dirty condition as they were discovered. Some of my photographs show the vases as slightly red in places. The first picture of the two vases together is a more accurate rendition. If you require more photographs please let me know. Sizes are 32.3 cm tall. They appear to be oval in shape approx 9.8cm x 10.7cm. Beautiful condition with the exception of a small chip to the end of a carved roof on one of the vases which would cover over I believe.
