Pair – exquisite – antique Asian – Chinese – porcelain large round footed vases, each vase has intense apple green monochromatic glaze with all over crazing / crackle as part of the decoration. They are unmarked and appear very early – possible C’hing dynasty – at least 19 century. They have been drilled for use as lamps as pictures show. They have old but later lotus leaf carved wood bases also drilled for lamp bases. Vases with bases over 14 inches tall. Both vases are in good as-found condition – the crackle crazing is part of the design. One vase shows possible glaze surface spider hairline on upper mid section but hard to tell if its not part of the crackle glaze-it is very faint. They have been drilled at bottom as pictures show. Otherwise no apparent damage or repairs. The wood stands show wear as pictured. From a Monmouth County estate.
