A stunning antique Chinese porcelain vase on a wood stand. The vase is of a vibrant yellow background with bright blue lotus flower decor. The wide rim is beautifully shaped. The vase is large. The measurements are as follows: Height (vase alone)35.3 cm (14 inches) Base diameter: 16.5 cm (6.5inches) Top opening diameter 17.78 cm (7 inches) Wood stand height: (2 inches) Weight: 3.4 KG (7.6 pounds) CONDITION: A wonderful old vase with no chips or cracks. Sadly, as can be seen in the photos, the base was at one time drilled to make it into a lamp. Made in Qing dynasty, most likely for export trade.

A Superb 30.8 cm Chinese Ming Xuande Underglazed RED Lotus Blossoms and Underglazed Blue Scrolls and motifs Yu Hu Chun Ping Vase. It has a hand written 6-Characters Mark of’?????? Da Ming Xuan De Nian Zhi’ seen near neck base (Photo 2 and 8). Evidence of related era. (1) Presence of abundant’SOMALI’ Cobalt Blue & RED???? (Photo 8 and 12) seen everywhere which indicating its period of production around early Ming. Stoney RED’ over unglazed area seen around base and base rim (Photo 10 and 11). Decorated by 100% Hand-painted Underglazed RED Lotus Blossoms and Underglazed Blue Scrolls along main bulbous body and neck base, with other motifs near to top and bottom. 12.1″ x 7.2 ” (30.8 cm x 18.3 cm).
