Vintage Peking Glass Vase Description and Item Information Up for sale is this finely made Peking glass vase with detailed carving. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This piece is made from white and red glass. Carved motifs include clouds and large phoenix birds. The vase is approximately 13 3/4 inches tall, with a maximum width of about 6 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 4 pounds 3.5 ounces. This piece would be a fine addition to a collection of Asian decorative arts. Identification This Chinese vase is unmarked. It is believed to be vintage, but the exact age is not known. Condition The vase looks great overall, with no post-production chips or cracks. There are fine wear scratches beneath. As made, and from the carving process, there are a few tiny edge flakes to the raised red decoration (visible upon close inspection); this does not detract. Terms of Sale 1. 16.4″ high, 8.5″ top rim diameter. It is in very good condition with no chips, no cracks and no repairs other than slight wear. Circa 19th century or perhaps earlier. It is heavy, weighs about 8 pounds. All around, finely painted in strong underglazed cobalt blue, an impressive, beautiful large vase. Please note that the actual blue color of the vase is darker. Antique LARGE Chinese BRONZE Vase mounted as LAMP Phoenix Birds CHINA Asian. Offering an antique Chinese Bronze/Brass Vase mounted as Lamp. Stylized Phoenix Birds as Handles. Decorated with Birds in sculptural high relief. Measurements– 34 1/2 to top of finial. 10 1/2 from handle to handle. I have for sale a large antique Chinese cloissone enamel vase. It has highly detailed colorful images of dragon, phoenix bird, butterfly and lotus flower? There are four of each element. It also has beautiful ornamental design/patterns throughout. I believe it is a fairly old piece. As there are chipped/cracked surface spots, and rusted metal bottom. There are several small holes on the bottom, where the metal has thinned out. It is about 11.5″ tall, and 9.5″ wide. This is a masterfully crafted work of traditional decorative art.
