Up for sale is a very rare, gorgeous and LARGE Chinese peachbloom porcelain box. Features a hugely potted porcelain box covered all over with a very soft , slightly rough to the touch peachbloom red glaze with kangxi six character blue underglaze mark. Box is very rare in a sense that it is very large in comparison to similar boxes and the glaze is done masterfully and artistically , by selectively localizing a Very Soft , slightly rough peachbloom glaze on the outer part of the box expertely leaving the bottom and the interior white done by normal white transparent glaze. It is known in the porcelain glazing and potting world that it is very difficult or may be impossible to accomplish such totally different glazes on the same piece of porcelain. Box is in good antique condition , with no cracks , but have normal age wear and chips at the lip edges of the box as shown in the pictures. Approximate measurement : Box is BIG and measures 4 1/2 inches wide in diameter. All payments must be received within 48 hours.
