Large Chinese Vase

This item is for a beautiful red glazed Chinese vase. It is in excellent condition. The vase has crazing on the red glaze as well as crackling on the inside white area. There is a very tiny flea bite mark near at the bottom which is barely noticeable shown in the last photo. It was previously used as a lamp which is why there is a hole on the bottom. The vase measures 16 1/2 inches tall. The foot rim 6 1/2 inch foot rim, 5 1/2 inch mouth rim, and roughly a 25 1/2 inch circumference at the widest part of the body. Update, 9/25: I’ve had this up for weeks with iPhone photos, which don’t do it justice. So I took a photo of this vase with a real camera today to provide a sense of color and scale. This stunning vase is from the estate of a decorated officer that served in the Korean War. This lovely vase was given to him in Taiwan by the Office of the President . I would estimate that it was created sometime in the second half of the twentieth century in Taiwan. The vase itself is large, measuring 12 3/8 inches high with a 14 1/4 inch circumference at its largest part. It is in a classic willow leaf shape, with a narrow neck, flared mouth, and delicately swelled body. The glaze is also very lovely, with an even flambé that produces some interesting gradations of color, especially around the neck. Please let me know if you have any questions! This is a pair of large Chinese porcelain langyao vases that date to the late 19th century. The exterior of the vase is a deep, rich red glaze with a crackle throughout. The interior and base have a pale crackled celadon glaze. 10.5″ high x 4″ base diameter x approximately 6 1/2 wide. Each vase weighs 3 pounds 9 ounces. There is edge roughness and tiny chips in the glaze and porcelain on the foot rim.
