This large porcelain vase , was made in China , circa 1900. It was made for the export market and is decorated in the Kangxi revival period , and bears the earlier Kangxi mark on the base. It is decorated with a handpainted birds , flowers and insects. It stands at 14 1/2″ high and measures 7 1/2″ in diameter. There is a large damaged still attached section on the side , this has been stabilised with a spot of glue , which extends from a large star crack on the side.
