Chinese Dragon Handle Vintage Art Deco Oriental Antique Large Moon Flask Vase. This beautiful vase has cherry tree with blossoms and flowers raised textured details with two gecko dragons for handles. This vase measures 17.5″ tall, 13″ wide, 6 deep. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration to this vase. There is some wear to the gilded decoration on the inner top lip as you can see, there is micro crazing as you would expect from this kind of item, and there is some staining on the inside base and a little to the outer base of that micro-crazing. It might bleach out if you felt inclined to do something about it but I’d leave it as is, the vase looks great. It is really heavy and large, measuring 20cms x 21.5cms or 8″ x 8.5″ across. This type of thick, matt glaze is very heavy and there are some inconsistencies in it but it is just part of the manufacturing process and what makes these vases so individual.
