UNIQUE LARGE VINTAGE HAND PAINTED CHINESE PORCELAIN VASE. Probably made around 1960 this unique vase has been hand painted and glazed. The colours are vibrant and the decoration astounding. Two dragons intricately drawn, one blue and one pink, fight for possession of the pearls of life. On the neck of the vase the theme continues with two cockerels, one pink one blue, in full fighting plumage. Two intricately decorated 3 dimensional peacocks also adorn this section. The white fluted rim is decorated with berries. The vase measures 18 inches high (46cm) x 8 inches diameter (20 cm) and is in good structural condition with no cracks or chips. There has been, sometime in the past, a few small repairs to the glaze on the pink dragon which in no way detract from the ascetic value of the vase, apart from this the vase is in good condition. The vase would fit into any surroundings contemporary, modern or antique, would look wonderful filled with flowers and also stands alone as a wonderfully decorative piece. This is a beautiful, large item, intricately formed and decorated should you want any more pictures in addition to the 12 above, please ask. Buyers are encouraged to ask questions to make sure that the specifications of the item match their requirements.
