Stunning antique 19th C Chinese porcelain vase handpainted with Foo dogs in coral red color scheme at one side and featuring calligraphy at the other side and neck. Chinese lacquered (not original to the vase) wooden 5 footed stand carved ornately is included. Exquisitely handpainted of one large foo dog and several small playful ones, 9 all together at one side of the vase, the other side is with Chinese calligraphy in black ink at the body, red at the neck with a coral red stamped Tongzhi seal mark at the bottom. Great to excellent condition w/o chips, nor breaks nor crazing, expected vintage wear very minimal as it was well kept, please check photos for your further evaluation. 14 ” tall, rim 6 1/2″, bottom 5 1/2.
