Circa 1855 Antique Chinese Handmade Blue & White Prunus Blossom jar. The jar is a large 20cm / 8″ tall and 6″ in diameter. This is a stunning looking Prunus jar made in the middle of the 19th century. First thing to say is that it is completely free of blemishes. As good today as it was nearly 200 years ago! Of course it is entirely handmade and hand painted. And the quality of both is superb! The pattern is’of the time’ and is Blue and White Prunus Blossom pattern. Typically for the era it has a double concentric mark to the base. This is a remarkable vase. Almost 200 years old. A wonderful piece of history. Whoever buys this item will be delighted.
