Large mid to late 19th century Chinese rose famille two handled vase with a hand painted floral and insect scene on front with Chinese poem and artist signature on reverse. Marked on base with a red square mark. This was made into a lamp and taken apart. There is a hole on the base where the red mark is that also produced 3 hairline cracks but these cracks do not extend to rim and are not serious. No other damage noted.. Very large at 17 1/8 inches in height and 8 1/2 inches at widest diameter. Have fitted wood Chinese vase stand, metal top and all parts for lamp if requested. Just needs new wiring.
