GOURGEOUS PAIR ANTIQUE LARGE CHINESE BRASS VASES WITH DRAGONS mid to late 1800s These two identical vases are well made with very thick, heavy brass. The body of the vases are ornately decorated with two dragons chasing the flaming pearl of knowledge. The third dragon appears on the neck of the vase. The feet and heads of all three dragons are cast separately and applied so that they really come off the metal. Especially the dragon on the neck of the vase, the head and feet totally rise off the surface and are completely three dimensional. Mid to late 1800s. Marked on the bottom. They are in excellent Condition considering the age. One of the side dragons is missing a leg and had. 0ne vase is full complete see pictures. Nothing to detract the natural beauty of these vases!
