This is an Antique Chinese Porcelain Qing Famille Rose Lidded Ceremonial Pot. The piece is highly decorated with botanicals, fruit, butterflies, birds, bats, conch. Shells, insects, scrolls, coins, and much more. Typically these richly decorated enamel wares were used for auspicious occasions. It likely dates to the second half of the 19. The pot is 12 tall and 11 wide. It weighs just over 10 lbs. The piece is in excellent aged condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. There is some general age wear to the glaze (see pictures).
