Beautiful very large antique Cantonese, Chinese vase and cover. Measuring at 2ft tall it is a show stopper. It is perfusely decorated with various court scenes and bird and butterfly scenes. It is in my opinion in very good condition for it’s age and it is very unusual for it to still have it’s lid, even though the handle is missing. I have taken plenty of close-up pictures so you can see how beautiful it is. There is some minor ware and tear to include some minor rubbing in places, one or two small chips and a couple of hairlines which I have done my best to picture. It’s been in my possession for probably over 10 years and I now feel it is time for someone else to look after it and enjoy it’s extreme beauty. The lid does move from side to side on top of the vase, but I still feel it belongs to the vase because the decoration matches the vase right down to the yellow fruit.
