A very beautiful, large vintage Chinese vase / urn or jar with lid cover. No chips or cracks. Calligraphy poem on the outside of boat passengers drinking wine on a moonlit river, listening to a pipa (traditional stringed instrument). Believed to be’Pipa Song’- Bai Juyi (772-846 AD). Measuring 15 inches in height and 9 inches at its widest part.
