Really Impressive and attractive large Chinese Blue and white Vase on hardwood decorated stand with warriors and Dignitaries painted in underglaze blue. Definably in the Kangxi form (17th Century) and the painting and colour is in keeping with this but my guess is that this is a 19th Century vase. High Quality Hardwood stand has gilded decoration in the form of stylised flowers. Probably original to the vase. A superb piece for any Chinese collection. Size 41.5cm (16.25 inches) tall. With the stand the whole item stands 60cm (23.5 inches) tall. The top rim may have been reduced. It is not at all obvious and it may not have been reduced but I wanted to point this out. The firing cracks have been there since manufacture and do not affect the piece in any way. Will send well packed and quickly.
