Pair of Chinese double happiness wedding jars. Large 10 inch Blue and white pottery urn jars. The style of decorative is called a “shuang (double) xi” (joy/bliss/happiness) character which is the recognized symbol of “wedded bliss”. The jars were mostly made in the later part of the Qing dynasty, which was mid 19th century up until the first decades of the 20th century. These jars were probably made to the later period of the time. They both come in good condition.
