Superb large 18th / 19th century Chinese porcelain jar of bulbous form with matching lid in a blue cracked-ice pattern in very good condition – no cracks, no bad chips… Just some expected wear and pitting around the edge of the lid and the knop, which is consistent with normal wear and tear experienced over the last 200 – 250 years. The inner of the lid has a small imperfection which looks like it was done in the original firing and then overglazed (please see pictures which form part of the condition report).
