A large and very nice Chinese porcelain flambe brush washer or bowl. Diameter circa 24.5cm, height circa 7.5cm. It is in very good condition, the only issues are three very short (about 2cm) hairlines which run from the rim, they are all about the same length and one of them is shown on the last photo. Also, on the rim, there are several tiny tiny small signs of fritting, an example of such a place is barely visible also on the last photo, not far to the left side from the hairline, there are not perceptible unless one look for them with magnifying glass. One has to truly examine this item to discover these mentioned issues, so small they are but need to mention them. The ground glaze around the foot is part of the manufacturing process. In my opinion, this item dates to the 18th century but to be safe will describe as 18th/19th century. More items will be added in next few days, please check and look at my other items for sale.
