Antique Chinese Hand Painted Porcelain Ginger Jar Vessel Large Lion Lid. Please see photos for details. There are some minor scuffs and scratches, normal wear for a jar of this age. However, even though the colors and designs of both pieces match, the fit of the lid over the top lip of the jar sits slightly unevenly and on the top instead of inside the jar. We do not believe it goes together but they look fine together as a display. Additionally, there is fading and missing paint at the base and top rim. This vase has nice underglaze blue and white decoration of a phoenix and a foo lion on a celadon ground. The vase probably dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. Condition:Good antique condition. Spiderweb hairline in the base. Height 22 1/4 Inches 56.4 cm. Width 8 1/2 Inches 21.5 cm. Depth 8 1/2 Inches 21.5 cm.
