Deep carved vase which most likely soap stone or possible a grey pottery. I do not know the maker or exact age, it is a very, very old, antiquity picking find with no obvious maker mark. There are some chips and wear to the matte glaze. Please view photos closely for complete description. It has been one of my favorite collectables for many years. 14 1/4″ tall, 4 1/2″ across the top rim, 5 1/4″ across the bottom, 9″ across at the widest point, about 27 around the shoulder area.
