This is a wonderful Chinese porcelain vase. The detail of the hand painting is just breathtakingly beautiful. I have not seen anything quite like it before. There are four large hand painted dragons surrounding the sides, with multi colored hand painted enamel flowers between. There are two dragon handles in terra cotta and a ring of molded terra cotta at the shoulder. The top of the vase is a lotus flower. The bottom of the vase is decorated with green waves with white crests and foam. The bottom has the blue Qianlong Zhuanshu seal mark in blue. The vase is large and heavy. It measures about 11 5/8″ tall, about 11 1/2″ in diameter and weighs 9 pounds 6.8 ounces. Excellent condition with no damage. It is quite an impressive vase. You will love this.
