Large Antique Kangxi Style Vase – CHINA – 18th/19th Century. Old and antique Kangxi style vase with rich blue decoration against a white background. Scrolling vines with random flowers decorate the exterior, accompanied by linear designs around the base. A band of scrolling lappets encircles the middle of the vase. Unmarked and unsigned, this is an example of genuine antique Chinese porcelain. Probably a 19th century copy of a Kangxi vase. Minor professional repair to rim (very hard to detect) and a couple of tiny chips to rim. Small firing flaws inside the neck of vase. Please examine photos carefully for condition. A large and impressive vase! Emperor Kangxi was the second emperor of the Manchu-led Qing Dynasty. He ruled the empire from 1661 to 1722.
