Baluster Vase Jar with Lid. Measures 18 high incl. Lid and 15.5 high without lid. Rim outer diameter 4. Base outer diameter 6.75. Body 7.75 at widest point. Handsome as discovered estate condition, the jar portion has no visible chips or cracks, scattered light enamel wear and scattered light surface dirt. The lid has interior lid chips not visible when set on jar (see detail images) and the underside glaze to the jar lid is quite varied and we don’t know if that is original or if it is an indication of an old repair but our guess is just that the slip glaze didn’t fully cover the underside. Foo finial gilt wear. This item will be approximately 27 x 16 x 16 inches and weigh approximately 12.5 pounds when well packed. Pick-up is presently not available.
