Huge Blue and White Dragon vase bought from the Galloway Estate sale in Memphis in 2002. A local doctor had bought the house and furnishings from the family, so many of the items in the sale had belonged to the Galloway family. I can’t be certain this vase belonged to the Galloway’s since the estate changed hands, but it is a possibility. Robert Galloway is credited with founding the Memphis Zoo among other things. You can read more about him here. It measures a little over 18″ tall by about 13″ in diameter. There are firing flaws and heaping and piling, but no other damage. No reign markings on it.
