Very heavy pottered green glaze Chinese vase with a quianlong mark. I do not profess to know a lot about oriental antiquities but this vase is different to the normal red or famille rose/verte vases i`ve seen. I do not know its provenance or age. Quite dirty in side vase. Carvings depicting scholars rock and house sitting below one side and then peony flower wit swirly carvings. Very nice piece but large and heavy. I will have to put a reserve on this though. Condition very good for age. Weight 6.4 kilos. Width approx 10 inches (hard to measure around the curves).
