Large Chinese Vase

Vase opening is 1.25″ wide and 1.5″ deep.

Beautiful hand carved and etched chinese urn. Incredible detailing to it and is a really great size measuring 14 tall. There may be some surface wear or small chips to the bone from age which is to be expected. The urn is not hollow its just one solid piece. Chinese glass vase with etched and painted decoration. The vase is about 9 1/2 inches tall and about 4 ½ inches in diameter. It is made of very thick clear glass with a faint greenish tinge. The flat rim is about 5/8 inch thick. It has an etched Greek-key design around the top. In the middle is an etched scene of two cranes under a tree. On the back side is a square six-character seal mark in archaic characters and a circular 4-character mark. The Greek-key band and marks were originally painted red, but most of the pigment is worn away. The crane scene is also painted, but some color has also been lost. Condition on the vases is fairly good. There are no chips, cracks or bad scratches, but the colors in the design are faded or absent. There is some interior dirt as well. I do not know how old it is.
