THIS LARGE SIGNED URN STANDS APPOX 10″ TALL AND IS APPROX 13″ AT IT’S WIDEST. THE MOUTH IS JUST UNDER 10 IN DIAMETER. LARGE AND HEAVY SIGNED ON THE BOTTOM. THIS PIECE SHOWS, WEAR, SCRATCHES, DIRT AND SOME SMALL DENTS COMMENSURATE WITH AGE USE AND DISPLAY. IT IS IMPORTANT YOU VIEW ALL THE PICS AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. INSIDE SHOWS SOME LIGHT RUST ON THE BOTTOM. URN IS STABLE AND FULLY INTACT WITH NO HOLES. WHILE THE ENAMEL LOOKS BRIGHT IN THE LIGHTS IT IS DARKER IN PERSON. THERE ARE SCRATCHES AND DIRT TO THE ENAMEL. THERE ARE 2 BANDS OF ENAMEL WORK WITH THE LOWER ONE HAVING SOME FINE METAL WORK INSCRIBED BETWEEN THE ENAMEL. A very good looking large pair of Chinese bronze vases. Champlevé or cloisonné in style. Prolifically decorated with serpents & dragons. Stylized signature to base. Large Antique Champleve lamp or vase. The bottom has been drilled for a lamp. Size is about 14 1/2 tall. Opening at the top is 4 1/4″, at the bottom 3 1/2″. A brilliant Gilt and colorful large pair of Champlevé form Cloisonné Ware made in China, late 70′s early 80′s. The pair have a colorful floral motif with matching Left/Right Guardian Lion finials atop the Urn covers. Each Urn measures 8″ in diameter at the widest and 9.5″ high to finial. Decorative 5″ receiving diameter wood stands add 2″ to height. Each Urn weighs 1.4 kg. The interior is the traditional Blue enamel. The Urn pair appear in great shape. This piece has a great look to it and measures roughly 16 tall as it is photographed. It will be much taller once a harp and shade are added to it. Pair large antique cloisonne champleve vases green & pink flowers red white designs. These are stunning pieces and display really well. I’ve hardly ever had more pleasing pieces. They stand about 9(23cms) tall. I believe them to be 19th century. There is very little enamel missing, and only a couple of real knocks. The flowers are stylised and the leaves are reminiscent of iznik design. No animal or bird designs. Both seem to have sunk in at the bottom of their necks, and have slightly battered rims. This is an impressive large Champleve cloisonné urn and cover with bronze Shi Shi knop lion finial dating from around 1920. The body has profuse wirework detail infilled with colourful glazed enamels in a very attractive design of Lotus flowers and scrolls all within Ruyi and pendant borders. This is a most skilled, worked piece with a great shape and lovely shades. The urn is in excellent condition overall save for a very slight indentation to the edge of the lid seen best in photo 8. The piece is a grand item of good scale, unusual for this type of work, measuring 27 cms in height. You are most welcome to call and collect from. Please call first to arrange.
