A large, Chinese porcelain vase, dating to the mid to late 19th Century. Painted in Famille Rose colours with two main panels of bats flying among flowers. There are two, gilt mask and ring handles at the shoulders with smaller panels below, and two panels at the neck. All on a green ground with scrolling tendrils and flowers. There are three old hairlines from the top rim, as well as a restored section, also on the top rim (see photos).
