Up for sale is a rare large pair of antique Chinese famille rose porcelain jars mainly decorated with scholar’s Bogu motifs (ancient treasures, Shang-style bronze vessels), peony and calligraphy, late 19th century, late Qing Dynasty, in overall good condition with age-consistent wear, a few glaze bursts and tiny frits on the edge, some other firing imperfections, one lid bearing some chips (see last photo).
