This is an exquisite and highly collectable finely worked large cloisonne vase. A mid-century decorative display item featuring a traditional ruyie border, lotus flower, peonies, clouds, mountains and cherry blossom motifs. The enamels are beautifully clear and the gilding appears aged. The condition of the vase is very good, the wirework is in good shape and there is a little pitting commensurate with age. The inside of the vase shows some signs of previous use. This lovely vase measures approximately 26.5 cm tall by 13 cm diameter and is from my personal collection.
