Here is an impressive, hand carved Chinese wooden stand. It measures approximately 9 inches across, at it’s widest and stands 3 1/4 inches high. As you can see I have included images with a tape measure to give you an idea of the top diameter. I have included images of the stand all round, taken outside in natural light and inside with camera flash. You can make out a small nick and an old glue repair to the top edge, which I daresay could be vastly improved if desired. Fortunately, it is complete and I can confirm stable. I would date the stand to the 19th century, possibly a little earlier. A good decorative antique Chinese stand that would enhance your oriental collection.
