Chinese Cinnabar Vase 19th Century Red Lacquer Hand Carved Large Urn 12 Tall. This lovely cinnabar vase is not molded it is carved. There is some flaking of the lacquer around the top/ lid and base of the urn. It also has some areas where the resin had chipped. I found only one other vase with the same shape on the internet and it was dated late 18th century early 19th century. It is a dark red color. It stands 12 tall. The interior is black. It features elaborately carved mountains with 7 male figures and many beautiful trees. The bottom and top of the urn feature the traditional flower and swirl/cloud pattern.
