For your consideration we are pleased to offer an exquisite matched pair of vintage mid-century cloisonné vases. Painstakingly crafted by hand in an elegant black base enamel over bronze, the vases are detailed with chrysanthemums, peonies, butterflies, and repeating swirls. Like all true matched vases, the designs are identical but run in opposing directions. Proudly standing 13 in height, these are large and substantial pieces in very good vintage condition. No dents, scrapes, or other compromising imperfections are found. Wear is appropriate for age and use. Please review the photos as they are a descriptive part of the listing. Only selected grand masters of cloisonne enamel were allowed to export vases approved by the Chinese Government.
