Large Chinese Vase

Very large Chinese Famille Rose Double Gourd Vase. Century Chinese porcelain double gourd vase which is finely decorated as shown. You can see the size of this vase sitting beside a normal 300ml can of lemonade, its the. Gourd vase I have had. PLEASE EXCUSE any glare in my photos, just the surface of the vase is shiny and hard to photograph, it looks far better in real life. This vase is large and stands at approx 12 in height and 6 ¾ at its widest part. The decoration on this piece is superb and finely done with figures, flowers, butterflies and much more. There is also a stylised light and dark blue bow tied around the centre with parts draped down over the main body of the vase, this has been very well done. The vase is still in excellent order, however I must point out that it has an old and tight hairline crack running from the upper rim edge, down inside approx 1 this I would not be too concerned about. All in all it is still a highly impressive piece. I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description.
