The palace interior looks beautiful and a glimpse into period architecture and furniture. Surrounding the scene are finely detailed clouds and at the top we see the Chinese flower maiden Goddess showering her blossoms on those below. The back has a calligraphy poem about the scene and signed with seal mark. The vase looks to have been reduced at the neck and may originally have had a flared upper. It was cut well and even and the vase is still large at 18.5″ inches tall and 9.5″ inches wide. Was converted into a lamp around the 1940s and now back to the vase. Has a drilled hole in center bottom and a tiny drilled hole on the lower side. Looks like a fine secure hairline on base but no other issues to report.
